The Sofia Beach House

This recently restored villa is right on its own beach, and a few steps from Lu Impostu Beach. It is only 20 kms from Olbia Costa Smeralda airport.

On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms, with en-suite shower rooms, and access to the garden, and one single bedroom, with en-suite shower room. An additional bed can be put in this room on request. Utility room with washing machine and extra fridge. The first floor is accessible by both interior and exterior stairs, and has the open plan spacious living room opening onto terrace, with dining area and kitchen. There are two double  bedrooms, with en-suite shower rooms, and both opening onto the veranda. There is air-conditioning in all rooms. All the showers are large with rain showers, and hand held showers. All the shower rooms have bidets.

A spacious terrace has sofas and chairs, and also a table for outdoor dining. There is a large garden and maritime pine forest, with olive trees and cacti, and an outdoor shower. There is a BBQ on the terrace. You can hear the sea from the villa at night and watch the changing colour of blue during the day, with the island of Tavolara in the distance.

Puntaldìa is located in a corner of the beautiful Punta Sabatino, framed by some of the finest beaches on the east coast of Gallura: Lu Impostu and Cala Brandinchi to the north and La Cinta to the south.

Just 20 km from Olbia, Puntaldia covers more than 80 hectares, directly facing the protected marine area of Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo and giving unforgettable views of sunsets over the islands Molara and Tavolara.

The houses in the area all blend harmoniously with the natural physiognomy of the surrounding landscape, shaped by the winds, and the vibrant colours of the Mediterranean maquis. There is a full-service marina, a Golf Club, tennis courts, as well as shops and restaurants. The properties have an architectural style designed in full respect of the immense natural value of the Gallura area, according to the strict dictates of the rigid building regulations of Puntaldia. All harmoniously camouflaged into the surrounding environment, the houses are inspired by the shapes of the typical Sardinian “stazzi” and have all been realized with high-quality local materials, such as stone, wood and terracotta, and finished with great skill by expert local craftsmen.
