Named after Nobel prize winning Sardinian author Grazia Deledda and the judge Eleonora of Arborea, the suites cover 100 sqm each. They embody a simple luxury that reflects Sardinian traditions, elegantly communicated through a careful combination of materials and furnishings. Each suite offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms in golden marble from Ulassai with a bath or shower and a living room opening onto a terrace overlooking the bay.
The suites are decorated using local woods, parquet and a profusion of golden embellishments, in reference to the hotel’s name and the quality of service offered at the Abi d’Oru.

Breakfast in the Grazia and Eleonora Presidential Suites is served in a reserved area of the restaurant from a special à la carte menu.

The suites are within an elegant 5* hotel near Porto Rotondo. The Hotel Abi d’Oru, meaning “golden bee” in Sardinian has been creating 5-star relaxation and happy memories, imbued with that special Sardinian brand of warm hospitality, since 1963. Private gardens border the beach and include a natural pond, a large heated pool and a relaxation area with Jacuzzi and a modern spa opening onto the grounds.

The Presidential Suite, designed down to the smallest details for those wishing to immerse themselves into the atmosphere of Poltu Quatu, among its mountains and crystal waters, is the place where Luxury and Prestige reign supreme. Unique in its style, it is made up of a bedroom, a dining room and a lounge, a study area with desk, photocopier, scanner and fax. It also has wifi connection in all areas.

The living area gives direct access to the 250 m2 terrace with sea view with private 8x5m swimming pool made from Sardinian granite and equipped with hydro-massage along with a lounger, a gazebo decorated with lightweight curtains and a large table for 8 people, ideal for al fresco summer lunches with a sea view. The absolute privacy of guests of the Presidential Suite is guaranteed by an additional external entrance which, from the village square, leads directly to the main entrance of the Suite.

The bathroom in the main bedroom of the Presidential Suite is equipped with a Jacuzzi bath. The living area, of approximately 180 square metres, has marble flooring and is illuminated by large windows that open onto the private terrace overlooking the natural fjord of Poltu Quatu. The light colours of the two large sofas with cushions contrast gently with the warm colours of the carpets and oriental decorations. The walls are embellished by unique works of art and refined oriental antiques.

The Presidential Suite can be connected to another 3 communicating rooms with spacious lounge area, but each independent from the other. The 3 bedrooms are extra and are sold separately. One of the 3 bedrooms is equipped with a small terrace with private Jacuzzi for 4 people and it is the ideal place for those wishing to experience the Presidential Suite with more than 2 people in the party. Both the Suite and the 3 bedrooms have a charming private bathroom, made up of a vanity area and bathtub with shower, furnished and decorated with a style that evokes the warmth of the Mediterranean.

Guests may use a small kitchen in a separate room in which, upon request and with a supplement, the catering service of the restaurant of the Hotel is also available, open 24h. Again upon reservation and for payment, the kitchen can be reserved exclusively to a Chef of the Hotel, available on a 24h basis for guests of the Suite.
