A classic yacht charter is available in Sardinia, on the lesser known west coast, the Sinis peninsula. The charming Sparkman & Stephens sailboat can accommodate up to ten guests for daytrips and four to sleep on board.

The Santa Maria sails to destinations on the west coast, including Capo San Marco, Capo Frasca, the ancient Phoenician city of Tharros, the marine protected isle of Mal di Ventre and the bay of Santa Caterina di Pittinuri.

 

Skipper Daniela is an ex lawyer who has turned her passion of sailing and cooking into her profession. She renovated the Santa Maria and is a partner of the Accademia di Casa Puddu, the cookery school of Michelin starred chef, Roberto Petza. Daniela treats guests on board the Santa Maria to her fine cooking, delighting in preparing Sardinia delicacies and introducing visitors to the real tastes and pleasures of the island.

 

Guests on the Santa Maria can learn to sail, improve their skills or just sit back and enjoy the experience.

 

For larger groups, Daniela teams up with a fellow skipper, Giangi, and his yacht, for memorable summer experiences with family and friends. The boats are equipped with snorkels, flippers, masks, inflatable tenders for reaching the shore, surf boards and stand up paddles.

 

Daniela and Giangi know the Sinis peninsula intimately, and also organise treks, bicycle rides and Land Rover tours of the territory.
