Porto Rotondo Paradise

This is a newly renovated property with lots of space in park like gardens in the Punta Lada area of Porto Rotondo. The accommodation is in the Main House and two independent buildings.

Main House. Large living room with doors to the terrace and garden with fantastic views. Dining area and small kitchen, with a dumb waiter from the professional kitchen below. Double bedroom with en-suite shower, and doors to terrace. Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, with bath & separate shower, safe in the floor, and doors to terrace. On a lower level are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, possibly for staff, each with external access from the garden. On this level is the professional kitchen, utility area and storage.

Porto Rotondo is one of the most luxurious resorts in the Mediterranean, developed in the 1960’s by the aristocratic Italian Dona delle Rosa family.At just a thirty minute drive from the airport of Olbia, Porto Rotondo is on the northeast coast of Sardinia, near Mount Ladu. Its name, translated literally means “round port”, is due to the natural inlet where the beach town was developed, delineating a practically perfect circle.. The sea is turquoise, beaches the finest and whitest, the Mediterranean vegetation, or maquis, is perfumed and provides a contrast to the many blues of the sky and water. Every sunrise and sunset should be seen, either with an early morning swim or with an aperitif in the evening.
Porto Rotondo is also a destination for the world’s artists, luxury sunseekers and celebrities from the world of sport, cinema and fashion. Nightlife is as exciting or as peaceful as desired, and the local restaurants superlative.Yachts are moored in the marina, and the central square, Piazzetta San Marco, is in the heart of the village and has many boutiques and bars.

Just a few hundred meters east of the marina of Porto Rotondo, in the direction of Punta Volpe, you’ll find Spiaggia dei Sassi. This beach faces north-west, and has a length of about 100 meters. It consists of fine sand and some small stones, and is surrounded by several hills. The seabed is shallow, and the beach is equipped with several facilities such as a bar and restaurant. It’s a cozy little beach that’s suitable for families with children.
