The Lodge Retreat
The Lodge Retreat is a very special estate with wonderful sea and mountain views, near Porto Rotondo and the Costa Smeralda on the northeast coast of Sardinia. This stunning property sits on five acres of private land and, with its backdrop of mountains, typical of the Gallura, the scenery could not be more spectacular.
The materials used in the construction of the property are typical of the area and are of the finest quality, and give the Lodge Retreat the feel and scent of luxurious summer living: granite, juniper, cane, and natural woods perfectly blend into the setting. Special illumination makes the property particularly atmospheric at night.
Amenities include: air-conditioning, Wi-fi throughout, helipad and outdoor gym.
La Marinella is the nearest beach to the property, less than 5 minutes’ drive away. It is about 800 metres long, and several trails through Mediterranean vegetation lead to the beach. Snorkelling and windsurfing are possible here.
Porto Rotondo is about 5 minutes’ drive away. With its bars and trendy eateries, restaurants offering ‘haute cuisine’ and a stylish small port surrounded by boutiques and contemporary art galleries, it has everything it takes to satisfy the whims and fancies of its VIP guests who make it their summer residence. Porto Rotondo is a small colourful centre, very stylish, which looks out over a splendid crystal-clear sea.
Accommodation
The main heart of the building has a living room leading to large covered terraces, with views over the pool, grounds and sea.
Main Building: Six bedrooms. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, overlooking the pool, with verandas. On the lower ground floor there is one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and one twin and one single bedroom, which are intercommunicating and share a bathroom. On this level is the twin bedroom with bathroom for staff, and the laundry.
Guest House: Two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and covered panoramic veranda.
Separate building further from the main house with two double bedrooms for caretaker.
